Join us to hear a free talk by local author Tom Schuller about his book The Paula Principle which was shortlisted for the CMI Management Book of the Year Award 2018
Women now outperform men at every level of education, yet in the workplace they are under-promoted and under-paid. In The Paula Princple, Tom Schuller examines why this happens, and asks what we can do about it. Through his research, Schuller identifies the five factors keeping working women from reaching their potential, and offers a convincing argument that making the world of work fairer will not only create a more equal society; it will also increase productivity.
Tom Schuller is an independent social and educational researcher. He has held senior positions in academia and policy bodies, and written or edited around 20 books. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, and a visiting professor at the UCL Institute of Education and Birkbeck, both in London.
